This issue of the CAD includes articles on 1) Azerbaijan’s economic dependence on oil revenues; 2) the EU's Southern Gas Corridor project, which seeks to reduce European dependence on Russian gas by increasing supplies from the Caspian region; and 3) how renewable energy sources could contribute to a reliable electricity supply for the South Caucasus region.
