This issue of the CAD looks at how Azerbaijan's government is dealing with domestic dissent. More specifically, it includes articles on 1) how the state has reacted to the 'threats' posed by social media; 2) the regime's assault on human rights in 2014; and 3) whether social advocacy has any utility when dealing with authoritarian regimes such as the one in Azerbaijan.
