This paper discusses the extent to which the EU's Eastern Partnership (EaP) has strengthened democracy, security and cooperation in the South Caucasus as well as the affect of Russia's involvement in the conflict in eastern Ukraine on the region. In general, the author contends that the EaP has produced limited results in the South Caucasus and that Russia's actions in Ukraine have further exacerbated regional fragmentation. The author also examines how these developments have affected Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia's relations with the EU as well as the future of the EaP.
