This issue contains articles on 1) the creation of an overland gas pipeline running through Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India (TAPI); 2) the implications of alleged Chechen involvement in the February 2015 murder of Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov; 3) Russia's move to sign an agreement to eliminate border controls with South Ossetia and a similar agreement with Abkhazia; and 4) the consolidation of power by the ruling party in Armenia following the fragmentation of the opposition parties.
