In this issue of the RAD, two Chinese scholars provide their perspectives on contemporary Russian politics and Moscow's adventurism in Ukraine. More specifically, the first article examines the interaction between Russia's changing society and the policy choices being pursued by the country's politicians. The second article then considers the possible impact of the Ukraine imbroglio on the strategic policies and positions of other powers, particularly the US and EU.
