This commentary assesses the impact the results of Turkey's June 2015 elections, which lost the ruling Justice and Development party (AKP) its majority in parliament, could have on the country's relations with the EU. More specifically, the author looks at what impact the election, and the possible coalitions that could be formed following its result, could have on political stability and democratization in the country and, consequently, on the country's accession negotiations with the EU.
