This issue of the CAD features three articles on politics in Armenia. The first article deplores the lack of mature political parties in the country and blames political apathy and low levels of trust for the ruling party's continued hold on power. The second article then examines the recent protests against increased electricity prices in the country and what they tell us about Armenia’s social, economic and political dynamics. Finally, the last article explores the possible economic implications of future constitutional reforms.
