This report focuses on the ongoing obstructionism of Thailand's military government, particularly in the cases of postponing general elections and delegitimizing the attempts to draft a new constitution. Indeed, things are bad enough that even if a new constitution gets endorsed in a referendum and/or general elections gets held, neither step will resolve Thailand's near-term legitimacy struggles or curtail the military’s rule.
