Publication

This paper discusses the challenges and the responsibilities of global corporations. The author recognizes the failing legitimacy of such institutions in society and argues that governments must find a way to link the corporate citizenship debate to their public policy goals. The paper further explains that also the business community needs to mature beyond cases of individual leadership and achieve collective action with governments and civil society organizations. The author advocates such alliances for making globalization sustainable.
