This bulletin examines the recent mid-term adjustments to the EU’s common budget and their potential impact on Poland. As the text’s author sees it, the adjustments, which include increased financial flexibility and clearer links between EU funding and community priorities, are harbingers of additional reforms after 2020. Unfortunately for Poland, they could lead to a drop in EU funding, provided Warsaw doesn’t vigorously promote its own budget agenda in Brussels.
