This briefing examines the situation of Hizbollah in the Middle East after the US invasion in Iraq in 2003 and the consequences for its struggle for Islamism and against Western domination. It states that the US has tightened the pressure and increased its attempts to dismantle Hizbollah's military capabilities. The briefing also analyzes Hizbollah's relationship to Iraq and possible attempts to provoke resistance against US forces in Iraq.
