This briefing examines Kosovo Albania's political circles, opinion leaders and public opintion. Particular focus is on the reaction to the election of Vojislav Kostunica as new Serbian President. The briefing states that the new regime in Serbia forces Kosovo Albanians to confront two disadvantages: first, the lack of Kosovo Albanian political leadership with stature and vision, and second, the absence of Kosovo Albanian institutions with the legitimacy to represent Kosovo Albanian interests abroad.
