This report provides information on the state of Serbia and of the Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic after the end of NATO’s air war against the country. The paper seeks to explain the Serbian response to the war and to the NATO alliance. Furthermore, the report examines the position in which the Yugoslav regime finds itself, both in relation to the public and in its ability to cling to power. Finally, the report provides a more general survey of the political landscape in Serbia in the wake of the war.
