This report assesses the performance of Bosnia’s ten-party Democratic Alliance for Change that was formed in January 2001 and represents the majority in houses of the parliament. The paper outlines the complicated process that led to the formation of the Alliance and reviews its performance in power, including its policy on the budget, social issues and privatization. Subsequently, the paper discusses ways to encourage effective government in the future.
