This report concentrates on internal aspects of Georgia’s situation and spells out what needs to be done in the aftermath of its 2003 bloodless revolution. The paper introduces Georgia’s history and sheds light on its geopolitical situation. Subsequently, the paper outlines the developments that led to the revolution and discusses issues crucial for the country’s future political and territorial stability. The paper argues that Georgia desperately needs coordinated international support to ensure a peaceful transition period.
