This report examines the political situation in Cambodia. It outlines the formation of a coalition government in November 1998 and looks at the prospects of the coalition between two parties who regard each other as rivals. The paper further describes the problems of the country, namely the human rights situation, the demise of the Khmer Rouge, the repatriation of refugees and the socio-economic situation.
