This report analyzes the political crisis in Kyrgystan. The crisis manifests itself in an increasingly authoritarian line of the government, protest marches and repressions against the opposition. The report examines the prospects for an escalation or solution of the conflict, with the security forces and the political opposition playing a particular role. It points to the necessity of systemic reform and political consolidation to solve the crisis.
