This report examines how the Jemaah Islamiyah terrorist network operates. First it examines the 2002 Christmas Eve bombings in Medan, North Sumatra; Bandung and Ciamis, West Java; and Mataram, Lombok, in Nusa Tenggara Barat Province. Then it outlines the structure and organization of the terrorist network and the motivations of its members.
