This report examines the nuclear threat from North Korea. It outlines North Korea's nuclear program, the Six-Party Talks and its key players, and discusses possibilities for conflict resolution. The report argues that the nuclear risk is high and that it is now an increasingly urgent priority to dismantle North Korea's nuclear program. However, demands by the US that North Korea do this before any deal can be reached have been rebuffed, and talks have stalled.
