This report discusses the stability and durability of the peace process in Sierra Leone and the implications for the country if this process is not solidified. The paper reviews steps taken with respect to security, including the deployment of the UNAMSIL force and disarmament measures. Subsequently, it discusses a number of threats to the peace process and presents measures for stabilization, including the reintegration of combatants, the establishment of a special court and the holding of elections.
