This issue of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst examines the political and economic developments in the region. Specifically, it draws attention to the agricultural policy in Tajikistan, Kozak’s plans for regional economic development in Russia and economic relations between Russia and Central Asian states. It also considers possible implications of Georgia’s conflict management policy over South Ossetia. Additionally, the issue features short field reports and news digests from the region.
