This report discusses US options vis-à-vis Iran. It draws on evaluations and strategies outlined by several experts on foreign policy and national security and specialists on Iran. It argues for a “game-changing diplomacy” designed to advance US interests irrespective of how Iran responds. The report outlines past US relations with Iran and possible diplomatic solutions to establish direct relations again in the future. In addition, the report outlines potential military activities against Iran’s nuclear facilities and the implications of such a military confrontation.
