As this brief sees it, Israel’s continued reliance on force to prolong its occupation of Palestinian territory isn’t justified by military necessity. If anything, it reflects government-sanctioned policies and practices that facilitate creeping annexation. To push back against this unlawful practice, the text's author concludes it shouldn’t be recognized by third party states and international actors, specifically within an integrated legal framework.
