The reports evaluates the impact and consequences on the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, which ended the second North-South Sudanese civil war, by analyzing a household survey on security undertaken in south Sudan. The author argues that while significant gains have been made in terms of the cessation of large-scale violence, human insecurity persists due to the number of residents carrying arms.
