This report focuses on Iraqi refugees and their reception in neighboring host countries. It outlines the scale and development of the refugee crisis, reviews the refugees' reception in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon and identifies implications for Iraq. Furthermore, the paper examines the international response. It argues that the international community, the Iraqi government and especially the US have failed to meet their responsibilities.
