The main article of this issue analyzes the religious writing that al-Qaida is promoting to justify killings of Muslims. The paper further addresses topics such as the security risk of human smuggling and trafficking by terrorists across international borders; trends in terrorist activities and the importance of using non-lethal weapons to combat terrorism; the terrorist threat posed by African-American Muslim groups; and the funding methods of Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas to terrorists and insurgents.
