Publication

This paper contains a study of the strategic interests of the five states making up the Union of the Arab Maghreb created in 1989. The author analyzes the general cultural and geographical settings of the states and security threats as they are perceived by their governments. He also discusses the security cooperation between the Maghreb and NATO.
