This issue of the Caucasus Analytical Digest discusses Europe's gas supply challenges. Specifically, it discusses the delivery channels, including the proposed Nabucco pipeline, and considers the development of the South Caucasus alternative energy potential. In addition, it presents an opinion on Azerbaijan's geostrategic role in the EU's energy security and provides statistics on international comparison of oil and gas reserves and production, and energy consumption in the South Caucasus.
