The Small Arms Survey is an independent research project located at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. It serves as the principal international source of public information on all aspects of small arms. The Human Security Baseline Assessment (HSBA) for Sudan and South Sudan is a project administered by the Small Arms Survey. Through empirical research, it supports violence reduction initiatives, including disarmament, demobilization and reintegration programs as well as security sector reform and arms control interventions across Sudan. The project publishes its findings regularly in the Small Arms Survey HSBA for Sudan and South Sudan Working Papers.
