CSS Energy Debate: New U.S. Energy and Climate Policies under President Trump?

On Tuesday, 13 June 2017, the CSS is conducting a "Energy Debate" discussing the following topic:

New U.S. Energy and Climate Policies under President Trump? Implications in a Transatlantic Context

“Lower costs for hardworking Americans” and “maximizing the use of American resources” are among the core energy policy objectives, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced after being elected in late 2016. Domestic changes and a potential withdrawal from the Paris Agreement on Climate Change would also have implications for Europe’s energy landscape. What can be expected from the new U.S. government? And what does this mean for global and European energy policies?"
