The Future of Extended Nuclear Deterrence in Europe, 6–8 September 2012, Zurich
The Center for Security Studies (CSS) hosted an international conference on the future of extended nuclear deterrence in Europe. The conference gathered European and American experts to discuss the following themes: NATO's Deterrence and Defense Posture Review (DDPR), nuclear sharing, European perspectives on nuclear weapons, deterrence challenges, missile defense and the role of nuclear weapons in NATO's deterrence posture. In addition to the panel presentations, there was a special roundtable discussion on the implementation of the DDPR.
