On 14 April 2011, Federal President Micheline Calmy-Rey visited the Center for Security Studies (CSS). Together with CSS staff and students, she discussed Switzerland's policy vis-à-vis the European Union, Swiss peace policies, as well as current security challenges (including the ongoing developments in the broader Middle East).
