Brunner, Elgin, Dr.

 

Elgin Medea Brunner is a senior researcher at the Center for Security Studies (CSS). She studied International Relations, Security Studies and Political Theory. Elgin holds a Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Vienna, a Master's degree in Political Science and a Master in International Relations both from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.

 

Her research focus lies on gender issues in security studies and international relations, information operations, the changing nature of warfare, and the societal implications thereof. Her think-tank activities further include researching the risk analysis field as well as critical (information) infrastructure protection issues and the cyber conflict domain.
