Daniel Frey is the institute manager of the Center for Security Studies (CSS). He is responsible for the managerial processes at the Center. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Zurich and a Master's degree of Advanced Studies in Human Resources Management from the Institute of Applied Psychology in Zurich.
Before joining the CSS, he held various positions as a human resources business partner in the financial services industry and was responsible for the HR function at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL. Prior to that, he was working as a journalist for the Handelszeitung in Zurich.
