Owen Frazer joined the Mediation Support Team at the Center for Security Studies (CSS) as a program officer in December 2011. He is responsible for various projects within the Culture and Religion in Mediation (CARIM) program which aims to support mediation and conflict transformation processes that deal with the religious and cultural dimensions of conflicts. Owen Frazer holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford and has completed a specific training in mediation skills with the Oxfordshire Open College Network. Prior to joining the team, he worked in the humanitarian and development sectors, first for Oxfam GB and WaterAid UK, before spending six years with the International Committee of the Red Cross where he held field positions in Colombia, Pakistan, Russia, Eritrea and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
