Stéfanie von Hlatky is a senior researcher at the Center for Security Studies (CSS). She holds a Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Montreal. Prior to her appointment at the CSS, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Georgetown University and a researcher at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington DC. In 2011, she was also a visiting professor at Dartmouth College. Her research interests focus on alliance politics and nuclear weapons policy. Her current research focuses on NATO's nuclear posture, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program and multinational cooperation within US alliances. Stéfanie von Hlatky has published in International Journal, European Security and the Canadian Journal of Political Science.
