Beat Oderbolz joined the ISN in September 2008 as an instructional designer in the Training & ADL Competence Center (TACC). His special focus is on supporting the Partnership for Peace Consortium's ADL Working Group in using the learning management system and content at pfp.ethz.ch as well as ISN-initiated online solutions for content production.

Beat Oderbolz is involved in all of the TACC's projects for the PfPC ADL Working Group and partners worldwide, including the ILIAS SCORM Editor and the ISN Multimedia Slideshow Tool. He regularly shares his instructional design expertise in training programs with international partners. He also provides training and development to Rapid-E-Learning authors for the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS).

Prior to joining the ISN, he managed a range of e-learning projects for the Swiss defense sector. In this capacity, he was integral to the development of constructivist approaches in the field of maintenance training, using large format interactive boards to support cooperative group learning. Beat Oderbolz has a Master's degree in Teaching from the University of Zurich and is also a qualified multimedia producer and instructional designer.
