Ralph Stamm joined the ISN as an editor in February 2008. He has worked as an advisor for the Permanent Mission of Liechtenstein to the UN in New York, where he dealt with security, disarmament and humanitarian affairs. He also has academic and professional experience in Japan. In Tokyo, he worked for a member of the Japanese House of Representatives, a political lobbying firm and for the United Nations University.

Ralph Stamm holds a Master's degree in International Affairs and Governance, a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and a diploma in Business Education from the University of St. Gallen. His interests include UN affairs, arms control, Japanese politics and foreign affairs, regional integration and international relations theory.
