Reto Schilliger joined the ISN in September 2008 as head of the Training & ADL Competence Center (TACC). Since 2009, he has been the chairman of the Partnership for Peace Consortium's ADL Working Group (ADL WG).

 

He has coordinated all of TACC's recent projects for the PfPC ADL Working Group and partners worldwide, including the ILIAS SCORM Editor and the ISN Multimedia Slideshow Tool. He is also involved in the training and coaching of Rapid-E-Learning authors for the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS), and has been lecturing on topics like instructional design, didactic visualization, and e-testing in international workshops.

 

Before joining the ISN, Reto Schilliger spent more than 20 years working for consulting and contracting companies in the fields of technical documentation and performance support, computer and web-based training and learning management systems. He has shaped and led numerous e-learning projects for the industrial and defense sectors, and contributed to major multimedia productions for public education. His expertise covers conceptual work, storyboarding, project and team management, and the training of technical writers and e-learning authors. Reto Schilliger obtained a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1995, and holds further qualifications in corporate communications.
