Victor Mauer is Deputy Director and Head of Research of the Center for Security Studies (CSS), ETH Zurich, and heads its project on European Security and Transatlantic Relations. He studied politics, history, European and international law, and international relations at the Universities of Bonn, Oxford, and Cambridge. He specializes in European security, European integration, and transatlantic relations. He has published on European and transatlantic affairs. Prior to joining the Center, he worked at the International Secretariat of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Brussels.
