Strategic Trends 2011 is the second issue of the Strategic Trends series. Launched in March 2011, it contains a global overview as well as chapters on emerging markets and fractured geopolitics, changing regional dynamics in the Middle East, terrorism and counterterrorism ten years after 9/11, and narcotics as a growing security concern. These have been identified by the CSS as the main strategic trends in 2011.
