This paper gives a detailed timeline of the 'Orange Revolution' in the immediate aftermath of the run-off vote of the 2004 Ukrainian presidential election which was said to be marred by corruption, voter intimidation and direct electoral fraud. It suggests that with this revolution, Ukraine has made its mark and built its position among European states.
