This report provides data on conventional arms transfers to developing nations by the US and other countries over the period 2001-2008. It notes that the US and Russia dominate the arms market in developing countries. In 2008, the total value of all arms agreements with developing countries amounted to roughly $42.2 billion; deliveries totaled approximately $18.3 billion.
