This report explores the assumption that, given their shared values and strongly convergent objectives in promoting peace and development, the EU and the UN are natural partners in peacebuilding. It examinines EU and UN policies and funding relationships with a view to identifying ways to strengthen the operational partnership and promote the coherence and effectiveness of the collective peacebuilding effort.
