This report talks about US-Palestinian relations, the history of Palestine since the early 20th Century, and its relations with Israel. It also gives an overview of Palestinian society and politics and describes key Palestinian individuals and groups—chiefly the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the Palestinian Authority (PA), Fatah, Hamas, and the Palestinian refugee population.
