To address the challenges facing the US intelligence community in the 21st century, congressional and executive branch initiatives have sought to improve coordination among the different agencies and to encourage better analysis. Making this cooperation effective presents some serious challenges and this report looks at some of the issues involved. It also addresses some of the issues related to intelligence services budgets, information security and other post-9/11 changes.
