In light of the G8 meeting on May 26-27 in Deauville, a commitment by the world’s major economies to provide a comprehensive and credible plan to support Tunisia’s political and economic transition is paramount. This plan should comprise a combination of immediate and medium-to-long-term measures, including political and financial support and technical assistance to underpin an inclusive and sustainable socio-economic development model for the prosperity of the country.
