During a visit to London on 25-27 September 2011, China's State Councilor Dai Bingguo met with UK Foreign Secretary William Hague for the UK-China Strategic Dialogue. The discussions centered around a range of international issues and new ways for the two countries to work together in the future. As part of this visit, State Councilor Dai met with Chatham House's Director Dr Robin Niblett and a small group of analysts from other UK policy institutes at a private meeting on 26 September. This publication is a summary of his comments to that group and of his main messages for the visit.
