This report combines the observations made of research, survey responses, and interviews to outline the critical challenges and opportunities currently facing the field of peace education and those working on building peace around the world. These dimensions are considered in the wider context of a growing field of peacebuilding practice and attendant conceptual and strategic dilemmas. Among the issues highlighted are defining the boundaries and subsets of the field through shared and comprehensive terminology, articulating and testing theories of change, and searching for complementary and integrated approaches.
