This brief discusses the ramifications of the Egyptian uprising for Israel. The author argues that although the leadership of Hamas will be pleased by the fall of Mubarak, who had repressed Islamism in Egypt, it understands that the Egyptian revolution cannot be viewed as a triumph of Islamic principles.
